Super Spidey-Man! Issue 4

Today, as you may have seen elsewhere... we proudly announce the casting for the STAR JAWS movie:-

Spidey-man As Luke Skywalker (sort of)

Marvel Boy (The Atlas Comics one from the 1950's) as both Han Solo (when flying his curiously familiar space craft "The Antediluvian Peregrin") and Luke Skywalker (when doing the famous "you're too short to be a Doombot" scene)

Paul The Gorilla (from the PBS Tv show "The Electric Company") As Chewbecca

Sam The Sesame Street Robot as both R2D2 and C3P0 as a cost cutting measure

And of course... DOCTOR DOOM as Darth Vader!

All in STAR JAWS! (which also happens to be the name of a large spheroid "space station, the size of  a planet)...

What was that, you was interested in some movie being made by J.J. Abrams?!! Well heck, throw in some lens flare if you are that bothered...

And also in this issue for absolutely no reason what so ever we are treated to the ground breaking debut of The Human Kite!

And finally, the first letters page makes its debut, you too can be part of this comic, just write a letter!

NEXT WEEK: - Is it a Bird? Is it a Plane?! NO! It's Super Spidey-man Issue 5 / The Man of Spidey, featuring the ORIGIN of Spidey-man!

Spidey fights The Funny Bunny

We interrupt our scheduled issue of Super Spidey-Man to bring you a special treat for you all this Easter

How about we get in a better writer for Super Spidey-Man?

And we have managed to get the writer without whom the massive blockbuster Super-hero movie, Marvel's The Avengers would have not existed and has a whole "universe" named after him with creations such as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "Angel", "Serenity", "Firefly" and many more

No, NOT Joss Whedon... but it is his Father, Tom Whedon who also wrote some great scripts as well

But, you can probably guess, this is absolutely not one of those scripts...

So why do I think there was a Empire Strikes back like moment when Tom Said, "Joss I AM YOUR FATHER?!..."

"It can't be that bad, can it?" You may ask

Well, all I know is I couldn't stop laughing long enough to be able to actually reproduce these pages, so these are the originals and in colour no less

Happy Easter

And yes there are plenty more examples of "Whedon Magic" yet to be unleashed in the future

NEXT WEEK:- Honestly, this time it will be Super Spidey-Man Issue 3 as promised last week

Do you like Peter Parker as Spider Man?

It's back to the past twice over, first to not that long ago February 2014, and then way back to sometime in the late 1970s.... with Super-Spidey Man Issue 2!

This issue includes part 2 of STAR JAWS guest starring Marvel Boy and Paul the Gorilla

BONUS to explain the appearance of Rita the Director (as she appears unnamed in STAR JAWS) the back up strip is "Lights, Camera, Oops!"

I hope you enjoy it
